For the very first time in London, MaestroBD – Davide La Greca, founder of Shibari Dojo, offers an inclusive and accessible Shibari class for anyone wishing to explore rope as a tool for connection, listening, and care.
“If you’ve been told you couldn’t do it, then this is the class for you.”
In this class, every body is the right body: shape, gender, neurodivergence, or physical condition are never a limit. The practice adapts to who you are — not the other way around. Here, ropes don’t judge: they meet.
Open to all levels: whether you’re a complete beginner, a more experienced practitioner, or just curious, you will find your space. Each participant will work safely, within their own limits, with direct support from the teacher.
6:30 pm – 9:30 pm at Anatomie Studio
Station Passage, Unit 17, London, SE15 2JR
This class is led by Davide La Greca (MaestroBD), founder and teacher at Shibari Dojo, a leading Italian school for Shibari. With years of international teaching experience, MaestroBD brings to London a respectful, attentive, and relational approach to rope work.
This class is designed for everyone, regardless of body shape, age, gender, orientation, ability, or experience.
Whether you’re plus-size, neurodivergent, living with a disability, or simply new to this world, you’ll find a welcoming, respectful, non-judgmental space to explore your relationship with your body and desire.
Here, the body you live in is never an obstacle — it’s the starting point for real connection.

Davide La Greca is one of the few European teachers certified in Yukimura Ryuu, the original style transmitted by Japanese master Yukimura Haruki.
Yukimura Ryuu isn’t about performance or restraint. It’s about the intimate connection between the person tying and the one being tied.
Its heart is Aibunawa — “sweet rope” — where tying becomes a gesture of care, listening, and subtle seduction.
In this workshop, rope is not just a technique to perform. It’s a language to co-create.
Knots are not the goal, but the means — a way to build real connection through touch, breath, and presence.
Learning from the Yukimura style means rediscovering slowness, silent communication, and intimacy as an art form.
Shibari isn’t cover-photo aesthetics. It’s contact, presence, dialogue.
This class celebrates the diversity of bodies and personal stories.

Davide La Greca, known as MaestroBD, is the founder of Shibari Dojo, one of Italy’s foremost Shibari schools.
He has practiced Japanese rope since 1990, training directly in Japan with Yukimura Haruki, of whom he is a certified instructor.
For him, rope is not just technique — it’s relationship, care, and language.
He teaches monthly courses across Italy, collaborates with international artists, and has taught in Tokyo, New York, Berlin, Moscow, Paris, and Beijing.
He is the author of Manuale di Bondage and promotes events, exhibitions, and performances focused on consent and connection practices.
His teaching does not aim to transmit a single style, but to offer tools for personal exploration, respecting the body and each practitioner’s uniqueness.
